"Hello! I am Ashrith Ponna, a current high school student with aspirations in the field of Bioinformatics. Throughout the latter portion of my life, I have perceived many individuals to have strong passions revolving around computer science, health, and even both topics. Unfortunately, even with these strong passions, many are unable to follow these ideals because of societal regulations with respect to financial statures. Upon seeing this problem, I founded The Biosis Foundation; an organization striving to bring passions revolving around Bioinformatics to those interested. I also founded this organization with the hopes of bringing more attentions to the combining of AI and health because of its staggering potential to improve the lives (in a medical sense) of numerous people worldwide."
